It quickly, safely, and neatly creates a hole in the top of the coconut for inserting a straw for drinking coconut water. It perfectly replaces traditional methods using machetes or stout nails, greatly improving operational convenience and safety.

How does the manual coconut opener work?

Triangular Positioning: This is the most common and efficient design. It typically consists of a base with a rotating cutting arm on top.

1.Securing the Coconut: Place the green coconut in the V-shaped groove or retaining groove in the base to stabilize it.

2.Positioning: Press down on the handle. The positioning spike at the front of the cutting arm will first penetrate the soft eye (the softest area near the germination hole) at the top of the coconut, ensuring a precise hole placement.

3.Cutting: Continue to press down on the handle. The circular cutting blade at the rear of the spike will rotate and cut into the coconut shell, creating a perfectly round cap.

4.Removing: Lift the handle. The cutting arm will remove the cut coconut shell, leaving a clean, round hole.
