Screw Dough Ball Forming Machine

Purpose:

You feed in individual pieces of dough-pre-cut to a specific weight-and the machine rolls them into smooth, round balls.

The action is gentle but effective. The dough pieces travel along a long spiral channel, tumbling and rolling until they emerge at the other end as perfect spheres.

Suitable size:

The rolling ball diameter range is 15mm to 38mm. That covers a useful spread-from bite-sized small balls (like coin-sized treats) up to larger ones (like ping-pong ball size).

Here's the important detail: one mold equals one size. When you order the machine, you specify the diameter you need, and it comes configured with that mold. If you later need a different size, you purchase an additional rounding mold.

The mold itself is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It's food-safe, durable, and has good release properties for sticky doughs.

HDPE can withstand short-term exposure to temperatures around 100°C, but for continuous, long-term use, it's best kept below 80°C. That's more than adequate for room-temperature doughs and most warm fillings.

Construction and materials:

The Screw Dough Ball Forming Machine is built with a stainless steel frame and outer shell, which is standard for food processing equipment. Stainless resists corrosion, it's easy to clean, and it won't react with food ingredients.

The mold-the part that actually contacts the dough and shapes it-is HDPE. This is a smart material choice. It's non-stick, which means the dough releases cleanly without leaving residue. It's also softer than metal, so it won't bruise or damage delicate doughs.

The HDPE is replaceable, so when the mold eventually wears out-and it will, after thousands of cycles-you can order a new one rather than replacing the entire machine.
